As a 2nd Generation South Asian American, Antika Singh brings her unique perspective and years of experience to her work as a progressive, learner-centered educator and consultant.
While earning her Master of Science in Education (MSEd.) at Bank Street College of Education—the epitome of progressive education—Antika developed an approach that centers educators as facilitators who meet learners ‘where they are,’ combining a deep understanding of development while embracing social justice and advocacy as core principles.
Following graduation, Antika taught History/Social Studies at prestigious institutions in Washington D.C. and New York City. Across these schools, she radically reenvisioned curricula and created democratic learning environments where students developed critical skills to examine bias, injustice, liberation, and resistance. Through engagement, creativity, and active learning, Antika connected course content to real-world issues, encouraging students to bring their authentic selves to the learning process—ultimately empowering young people to see themselves as catalysts for social transformation and understand their place in a larger collective journey.
After 12 years in the classroom, Antika transitioned to educational consulting, enabling her to broaden her impact by helping individuals and organizations push the boundaries of what is possible in diverse learning environments.
Antika equips students, professionals, and organizations with tools to critically engage with history, grapple with complexity, and envision an equitable, inclusive future, all while prioritizing personal and collective well-being. By creating spaces where people connect deeply with both the material and each other, she enables clients to become skilled, active participants in shaping a more compassionate and just world.
